From milestone achievements to balanced scoring and stifling defense, it was a night to remember for the green and white.
No. 12 Stevenson Men’s Lacrosse Overpowers Albright, 28-6
The No. 12 Stevenson men’s lacrosse team (12-4 Overall, 5-1 MAC Commonwealth) lit up the scoreboard in a 28-6 thrashing of Albright (1-15 Overall, 0-6 MAC Commonwealth) at Mustang Stadium.
“As a team we are in a phenomenal mental state right now and very focused,” junior attacker Max Racich said. “We just need to continue getting after it in practice, film, and scout and we will come out with a win on Saturday.”
The team honored its senior class prior to faceoff, then exploded for 11 unanswered goals in the first quarter—each scored by a different player.
Stevenson’s offensive machine didn’t slow down, adding eight more goals in the second quarter to hold a commanding 19-1 lead at halftime. The Mustangs tacked on five more in the third and finished with four in the final frame, with 17 players scoring in total.
Along the way, senior Grant Zick reached the 200-career point milestone, and Racich tallied his 100th career goal.
“It’s awesome, but it once again wouldn’t be possible without all the other guys that do the little things that go unnoticed,” Racich said.
Gavin Gossen led all scorers with nine points, recording seven assists and two goals. Zick followed with seven points (3G, 4A), while Darrell Curtis, Dillion Linhardt, and Hunter Bryant all notched hat tricks.
Racich added two goals and an assist, and several others contributed across the stat sheet.
Defensively, the Mustangs controlled possession and stifled Albright’s attack, while five different goalies—Tyler Merchant, Kieran Banks, Kaden Snead, Nicholas Parolin, and AJ Cather—rotated in net, combining for 10 saves.
Racich shared what the team needs to do to remain ‘dialed in’ to keep the momentum going.
“It is a one game at a time mentality. Starting Wednesday and on it’s pretty much win or go home and losing the MAC is not an option this year. We have to continue to be dialed in and battle in every game like it is our last.”
The victory sets the Mustangs up for a pivotal regular season finale at Widener. Faceoff is set for 1 p.m. Saturday in Chester, Pa.
Women’s Lacrosse Cruises Past Albright, 22-4

Grad student Sophia Murray said the team has kept the momentum rolling these last couple of games.
“These games have been really great chances for us to lock down our style of play and work on our discipline as individuals and as a team,” Murray said. “Having a good mix of players get playing time has been really good for keeping the momentum up and spirits high as well.”

Murray said the team is ready.
“We remember how our game against Widener went last year and the stumbles we had, so we’re coming into this game with a lot of focus and a need for redemption. in how we played last year,” she said. “We’ve been proactive with our preperation against the next couple of teams, so our scout and practices have been preparing us well on learning what they do and how to counteract it.”
Stevenson returns home Saturday to close out the regular season against Widener. First draw is set for 1 p.m. at Mustang Stadium, with a special Senior Day ceremony taking place beforehand to honor the team’s seniors.
Final Tune-Ups Before Postseason Push
