Critics called “Zootopia” “the whole package” because of the film’s important social issues that were mixed with comical pop culture, making the movie suitable for kids and adults, as reported by The Wrap.

Ultimately, the film is about race relations, racial profiling, and the quickness with which people can resort to stereotyping. “Zootopia” had topped the first-day box office sales of “Frozen” by a record of $1.4 million on opening day, totaling the opening weekend earnings of $75 million, according to Time.com.

The movie centers around a small rabbit named Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin), whose dream is to become a police officer and moves to the city, Zootopia. The city is a place filled with predators and prey who live in segregated harmony. Judy is overlooked by everyone, including Police Chief Bogo (voiced by Idris Elba), until she takes on an investigation that leads to solving the biggest crime in Zootopia. She is partnered with Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman), who is a con artist fox. The two soon discover that the disappearances happening in the city are tied to a conspiracy and cover-up involving disturbing occurrences among the Zootopia locals.

Judy is a character to whom everyone can relate because although her parents discouraged her from reaching her dreams, she reaches her dream of being a police officer. She is optimistic and has an upbeat attitude. This teaches viewers never to give up or listen to naysayers when it comes to their dreams.
