In this third and final episode of Rooted & Real, host Maya Townsend is joined by three women of God, Ashlynn Toppin, Joy Barnett and Daishawn McQueen, who lead on-campus ministries-CRU and Bethel Campus Fellowship (BCF)-as well as serving in their home churches.
Together, they reflect on what it means to flourish in Christ’s unconditional, sacrificial love through the lens of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and John 3:16, having an open discussion about what it means to embrace God’s agape love in a world where love is often transactional and how they live it out in their ministries, personal relationships, and moments when they’ve been wronged or feel unworthy of God’s love.
How can we truly flourish in Christ’s agape love and extend it to others, even when it feels hardest to give or receive?
