PHOTO STORY: AAPISU’s culture week celebrates student diversity with food and festivities from around the world

Day one of culture week featured Holi, meaning, ” festival of colors,” which is celebrated in India to mark the beginning of spring.

The Asian American Pacific Islander club of Stevenson University hosted its annual culture week, a week-long lineup of events in celebration of the diverse range of cultures that represent the student body.

Sunday, March 8: Holi celebration

Monday, March 9: Steeped perspectives

Tuesday, March 10: Education fair

Wednesday, March 11: Street market

Thursday, March 12: Open mic night

Katie Campbell, Editor-in-Chief

Katie is a junior Nursing major and is starting her second year as Editor-in-Chief of the Villager. She enjoys playing on the women’s club soccer team and watching Monk. By night, she is an RA for the fourth floor of Worthington.

Alyssa Reddy, Podcast Host

Alyssa is a sophomore Biochemistry major with a Communications minor on the Pre-Med Track from Perry Hall, Maryland. In addition to hosting a podcast for The Villager, she enjoys watching movies and volunteering with the Red Cross. She is excited to participate with The Villager and WSR in producing podcasts exploring topics that our community wants to share their insight on, including entertainment and media.
