As the month of December begins and the weather gets colder, Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success, is hosting a “do it yourself” (DIY) hot chocolate making event that is sure to warm up Stevenson students.

The event is called “Warm Up Your Winter” and will be held Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Rockland Marketplace.

There will be hot cocoa mix and toppings provided, which students can choose to put in a mason jar and take along with them. Afterwards, they can cozy up to a warm jar of hot chocolate while studying for exams. This event is a way for students to meet new people, show off their creativity and de-stress.

Sarah Cullison, a member of the society, said that the group wants this event to be a fun DIY activity for students to warm up their winters.

Sigma Alpha Pi chose to host this event to get involved with the Stevenson community and to provide students with an opportunity to socialize. The honor society is rooted in student leadership and motivation.
